Tenant check conditions:
  • If a tenant has been in the property for less than 12 months and the landlord did not obtain a tenant check, from a recognized tenant checking company, and achieve the equivalent of a 'pass' rating then the landlord must obtain a current tenant check.
  • If the tenant has been in the property for over 12 months and has had no default instances, then a tenant check is not required.
